End Useless Government Activity

Things that need to be done that the federal government does well: 

Issue and back honest currency

Enforce antitrust laws

Deliver the mail

Defend the borders (NOT police the world)

Social Security

Single-payer health care

Infrastructure (especially interstate transportation)
 

Things that the federal government should not be doing: 

Police the world

Spy on citizens

Control women's bodies

Impose onerous taxes

Force ordinary citizens to file income tax returns

Displace state and local law enforcement

Displace state and local courts

Criminalize consensual behavior (i.e., drugs)

Impose national ID cards on citizens

Show favoritism in matters of religion
